More than just a builder

With more than 20 years of hands-on experience in carpentry, interiors and finishing, we combine practical craftsmanship with a strong eye for design — creating spaces that are as functional as they are beautiful.[Start a conversation]More than just a builder.

A good space is about more than materials and measurements. It’s about proportion.
It’s about how things work.
It’s about making the most of the space you have.
And it’s about getting the details right. At DENNEYS, we bring together design awareness and practical experience to create work that feels considered from the beginning. We don’t simply install someone else’s idea.We work with you to understand what you want to achieve, then bring the practical knowledge and craftsmanship needed to make it happen. What we doBespoke KitchensKitchens designed around your home, your lifestyle and the way you actually use the space. From timeless shaker kitchens to clean, contemporary interiors, we focus on proportion, storage, materials and detail to create kitchens that work beautifully and stand the test of time.[Explore bespoke kitchens →]Fitted FurniturePurpose-built furniture designed to become part of your home. From fitted wardrobes and alcove furniture to media units, home offices and clever storage, every piece is designed around the space rather than trying to make standard furniture fit.[Explore fitted furniture →]Garden RoomsBeautiful, practical spaces that extend the way you use your home.Whether you’re looking for a home office, studio, gym, creative space or somewhere to escape, our garden rooms are designed around their setting and built with the same attention to detail as our interiors. From the structure and external finishes through to doors, windows, insulation and interior details, we create garden rooms that feel like a natural extension of your home.[Explore garden rooms →]A craftsman’s approachGood design should feel effortless. We believe the best interiors don’t need to shout. They work because the proportions are right, the materials complement each other and everything has a purpose. That’s why we pay attention to the things that can easily be overlooked — the way doors line up, how storage meets a wall, the proportions of a cabinet, the relationship between materials and the way a new piece sits within the existing architecture. It’s these details that make the difference between something that’s simply fitted and something that feels like it belongs. From idea to finished spaceEvery project is different, but our approach remains straightforward.01 — ConversationWe start by understanding your home, your ideas and what you want the finished space to achieve.02 — DesignWe consider the layout, proportions, storage, materials and finishes to develop a solution that works both practically and visually.03 — MakingWhere appropriate, elements are made specifically for your project, with careful attention to materials, construction and finish.04 — BuildWe bring everything together on site with a focus on accuracy, craftsmanship and a clean, considered installation.05 — Finished spaceThe result is a space that’s designed around you — practical, individual and built to last.Designed for your homeNo two homes are the same.We particularly enjoy working with properties where the character of the building needs to be considered alongside modern living — from period homes and extensions to contemporary properties.Whether it’s making the most of an awkward alcove, designing a kitchen around an existing space or creating a garden room at the end of the garden, we look for opportunities rather than limitations.Bristol, North Somerset & the MendipsDENNEYS works with homeowners across Bristol, North Somerset and the Mendips, creating bespoke kitchens, fitted furniture and garden rooms. We work on individual projects where quality, design and attention to detail matter.[View our projects →]Meet the makerHands-on experience. A designer’s eye.DENNEYS is built around a simple idea: good craftsmanship and good design should go hand in hand. With over 20 years working with interiors, carpentry and finishing, I have developed a practical understanding of how things need to be built as well as how they need to look. That experience allows me to approach each project from both sides — considering the finished design while understanding the practical details needed to achieve it.The result is a more personal approach, with one person taking responsibility for the project from the initial conversation through to the finished space. The details matter.Thoughtful design.
Quality materials.
Practical craftsmanship.
Beautifully finished spaces. That’s the standard we aim for with every DENNEYS project.Thinking about your next project?Whether you’re planning a new kitchen, looking for bespoke fitted furniture or considering a garden room, we’d be happy to hear what you’re thinking.Let’s talk about your project.[Start a conversation →]
